The following graphs show different aspects of the spread of SARS over time. The information used to generate the graphs was taken from (and is based on) the on SARS. One can get a feel for how fast the disease is spreading. The # of cases are cumulative – which means that some of the people counted here have gotten better (a total history of cases).
Click HERE for the table containing the data that generated these graphs. Note: The WHO doesn't publish statistics on Sunday, so I have interpolated the Saturday and Monday numbers. These are noted by the gray bars.
The following graph shows the number of cases and deaths in the United States vs.
time. The large dip is present because the U.S. changed methods for
determining what is a 'case'.
